Jasper Rose: The Model
First signed to B&M Models in the summer of 2020, Jasper has since appeared in Vogue Italia, L’Amour, and IN Magazine among others. Jasper has also shot for brands including Harry Rosen and Shibori Threads as well as regularly models for live art classes, including experience at the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario). Jasper Rose: The Actor
Aided by an early childhood education in vocal music and acting for theatre, Jasper has since advanced their studies under acting instructors including Ingrid Hart, Peter Van Wart, and Rosanna Saracino. Jasper has also studied improv at the Second City having completed Improv 4. They have starred in various student productions including the co-written silent student film “Dragoon” which won for best student short at Eastbourne’s Crossing the Screens International Film Festival. Jasper remains non-union and is in active search for representation for film/television and theatre.
Jasper Rose: The Artist
I owe the foundations of my drawing abilities to my older sister, Natalie, and the endless hours in our childhood spent drawing the beautiful princesses we’d imagine ourselves as while playing out their fantastical adventures with our barbie dolls. My early love for drawing these characters advanced my skills in portraiture and also opened the doors into fan art and animated drawing styles which honed my skills of line-work.
Today, my artistic style retains its essence of feminine beauty, but has armoured itself with a darkened edge and imbued itself with an illustrative style that incorporates my imagination’s maximalist overdrive. I work predominately in pencil, pencil crayon, charcoal, chalk, and acrylic paint, but most recently, it is usually a combo of at least three of these. I am well versed in digital art platforms, most especially Clip Studio, but often prefer to create in physical mediums. I like dirty hands.
